Statistically:
• two men died in 1915
• six died in 1916
• five died in 1917
• eight died in 1918, including one on Armistice Day 11 November 1918
• one died in 1919
• it is not clear when Mr Sheldrick died of his wounds.
• Some were killed outright; others died later of wounds.
• Eighteen of those lost were privates
• there was one sergeant
• one corporal
• one lieutenant
• one lance sergeant
• one major
• The men ranged in age between 19 and 40; most were in their 20s.
